We collect one thing: the details you give us when you join the early-access waitlist.
Everything you create in the CRAFTtrail app — your records, notes, names and screenshots — stays in your browser on your device. We never receive it and cannot see it.
We use no analytics, no tracking, no advertising tools and no cookies.
When you submit the form on crafttrail.ai we store:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | To send you release notes and to contact you about the beta |
| Company or agency name (optional) | To understand who is interested |
| Country | Derived from your connection by our hosting provider, to understand demand by region |
| Browser user-agent | Basic abuse prevention |
| Referring page | To know which content brought you |
| Timestamp | Record-keeping |
Lawful basis: your consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your entry.
Your IP address is used only for a temporary rate-limit counter that prevents automated signups. It is not stored on your waitlist entry and the counter expires after one hour.
Retention: until you ask us to remove you, or until we close the early-access programme and tell you we are deleting the list.
We collect no personal data from the app. Records, evidence, screenshots, names and settings are held in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB on your own device.
We do count five things while CRAFTtrail is in beta: the app being opened, an asset being created, a certificate being issued, a backup being made, and the beta notice being shown. Each sends one word to our own server and nothing else — no identifier, no IP address kept, no content, nothing that can be linked to you or your company. We hold a number per day, such as "14 openings on 12 August". Because there is no identifier, this is not personal data and there is nothing here for us to give you or delete on request. See our Cookies page for the full detail.
Two things worth being precise about:
If you enable AI assistance, evidence images and prompts are sent from your browser to the AI provider you configure, under your account and your contract with them. That transfer is between you and that provider — not through us and not to us. AI assistance is off by default.
Our AI proxy, if you choose to use ours rather than your own, passes requests through to the provider. It does not store the content of your requests.
If you engage us for a Readiness Audit or a Founding Partner Pilot, we will handle information about your business and potentially personal data of your staff. That is governed by a separate written agreement and, where required, a data processing agreement.
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the site and stores the waitlist in Workers KV | Global edge network |
We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else. We use no advertising or analytics providers.
Cloudflare operates a global network, so waitlist data may be processed outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens it is covered by Cloudflare's data protection terms and standard contractual clauses.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email contact@craftframe.agency. We will respond within one month.
Because the app stores your work on your own device, an access or erasure request about your records is something only you can act on — we hold no copy to give you or delete.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office — ico.org.uk — but we would rather you told us first.
We will update this notice when what we do changes. The current version is always at crafttrail.ai with the date at the top. If we ever start using analytics or any tracking technology, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before doing so.
