crafttrail.ai sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences.
We also use no analytics products, no tracking pixels, no advertising tools, no session recording, no A/B testing tools and no third-party embeds. The site makes no requests to any other domain — even the fonts are served from our own site rather than a font CDN, so no third party sees your visit.
That is why you are not being asked to accept anything. There is nothing to consent to.
While CRAFTtrail is in beta, the app tells our own server when five things happen: the app is opened, an asset is created, a certificate is issued, a backup is made, and the beta notice is shown.
Each of those sends a single word and nothing else. No name, no email, no asset, no client, no file, no IP address kept, no identifier of any kind, and nothing that could be joined back to you. What is stored is a number per day — for example, "app opened 14 times on 12 August". Our server accepts only those five words and discards anything else.
We do this because your work never reaches us, which means without it we cannot tell whether anyone is using this at all. It is a headcount, not a trail.
The app stores one date in your browser for this — the day it last counted an opening — so that reloading a page ten times counts once. That date is not an identifier and is not sent anywhere.
The CRAFTtrail app at crafttrail.ai/app stores data in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB:

This is strictly necessary storage: it is the service you asked for, and the app cannot function without it. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, strictly necessary storage does not require consent.
None of it reaches us. It sits on your device. We hold no copy and cannot read it. See our Privacy Notice for the full picture.
You can delete everything at any time through your browser's settings for crafttrail.ai — "Clear site data" or equivalent.
It will be gone permanently. There is no server-side copy to restore from, so export your records first if you want to keep them. The app's Export function produces a portable file.
If we introduce analytics or any technology that isn't strictly necessary, we will update this page, update our Privacy Notice, and ask for your consent before setting anything. We will not quietly start tracking and then mention it here.
